I fell in love with photography at 13yrs old. I've pursued it professionally for the last 10 years. My inspiration comes from many places, but I love to capture people at their best, when they are unaware and just enjoying life. Many people use the term "Wedding Photojournalist" to describe their style of wedding photography. I couldn't catagorize myself as such because I must become whatever is necessary to capture those moments. I couldn't tell you how many photographers have told me they are artists, and perhaps they are, but for me people are the art an I'm the observer with a camera. The difference between myself and other observers is I've trained my eye to recognize when moments are about to happen and then press the button. I admire the work of such greats as Denis Reggie whom I think coined the term wedding photojournalist and Joe Buissink whom I consider to truly be an artist.
If theres anything that I've learned from my years as a photographer it would have to be that while lighting is extemely important, its the moments that make or break the photo.
